This high-quality reproduction of the WW2 Soviet Army leather cross belt replicates the regulation officer’s Sam Browne-type harness used throughout the Eastern Front. Constructed from strong russet-brown cowhide (naturally tanned, 1.8-2.0 mm thick, top grain, naturally pigmented), it features a wide waist belt with a rectangular brass buckle, and a single shoulder strap that connects diagonally across the chest to support sidearms, map cases, or field equipment. The belt system was standard issue for Red Army officers, NKVD units, and certain senior NCOs during the Second World War.
