This is a WW2 German NSDAP Sturmabteilung (SA) propaganda banner, bearing the slogan “Deutschland Erwache” (“Germany, Awake”).
Such banners were used by the Nazi Party and SA units for rallies, marches, and public displays, with the reverse typically identifying the organization as the National Socialist German Workers’ Party and its SA formation.
• construction: double sided, with separate obverse and reverse designs.
• fabric: smooth satin-finish cloth replicating period ceremonial banners.
• dimensions: approximately 90 x 120 cm (vertical rectangular format).
• central emblem: white roundel with black emblem applied via stitched appliqué or high-resolution screen print.
• text: period-style lettering for “Deutschland Erwache” and NSDAP / Sturmabteilung identification
• border: multi-color woven edge trim stitched around the perimeter.
