This WW2 German Heer artillery ceremonial standard is a reproduction of Army swallowtail banners used by artillery units and senior formations for parades, headquarters display, and official functions. Featuring the Iron Cross motif with Wehrmacht eagle and oak-leaf wreath, it represents a ceremonial Army standard rather than a combat or Luftwaffe item.
• construction: double sided, two panels stitched back-to-back with correct orientation on both sides.
• fabric: satin silk cloth replicating original ceremonial sheen.
• dimensions: approximately 90 x 120 cm overall, swallowtail cut.
• central motif: Iron Cross with Heer eagle and oak-leaf wreath applied via stitched appliqué and hand embroidery.
• fringe: silver-grey decorative fringe around outer edges.
• edging: contrasting border trim following the swallowtail outline.
