The WWII U.S. Army Enlisted Khaki Cotton Shirt as manufactured by us was the standard warm-weather service and field shirt issued to enlisted personnel throughout the Second World War. Made from durable khaki cotton poplin or twill, it was lightweight and breathable for summer and tropical conditions. The shirt features two pleated chest pockets with scalloped flaps, a full button front, double-stitched seams for strength, and buttoned cuffs. Designed with a stand-and-fall collar, it was worn both open-collar style or with a tie for dress occasions.
