An exacting reproduction of the 1879 British Army Officer’s Scarlet Tunic, as worn during the Anglo-Zulu War and other late 19th-century campaigns. Made from fine scarlet melton wool, this tunic features dark navy or black velvet facings on the collar and cuffs, richly adorned with gold Austrian braid and regimental gilt buttons.
The high stand-up collar is trimmed with gold lace and regimental insignia, while the rear tail seams display decorative gold piping and button details. The tunic is fully lined in cotton twill for comfort and durability, designed for both ceremonial and semi-dress use.
