British Army Blue Patrol Jacket (Late Victorian / Edwardian Era)

This is an accurate reproduction of the late Victorian–Edwardian era British Army Blue Patrol Jacket, as worn by officers of infantry and cavalry regiments. Made from fine dark blue serge or wool barathea, the jacket features scarlet facings on the collar and cuffs, silver or gilt lace edging, and shoulder cords. The front is fitted with concealed hooks and eyes, while the rear displays double-pointed skirt panels with ornate buttons and lace ornamentation — a hallmark of regimental full dress refinement. Designed to bridge the formality of full dress and the practicality of service wear, it was worn for levees, inspections, and semi-formal duties.
