Each piece is made using the correct leather, bullion, or woven silk cord according to historical pattern references. Officer’s sword knots feature gilded or silver wire acorns with hand-braided straps, while enlisted versions are supplied in plain leather or cotton webbing with stitched or pressed tips. Modern dress knots can be supplied in gilt, silver, olive drab, or black finishes as per regimental specification.
