Our Victorian era Royal Engineers full dress oxford-blue (very dark blue) wool trousers with a broad scarlet stripe down each outer seam (specified at exactly 2 inches). The trousers are high-backed cut for braces (brace buttons attached), notched back, button fly, two slash side pockets and one back pocket with cotton lining in the upper half of the trousers. The trousers have tailored straight legs with sharp creases for parade wear; worn with Royal Engineers scarlet tunic on full-dress and ceremonial occasions.
