Oxford-blue wool (100% natural, high grade Melton wool with 80% wool content – slightly different in color to the Guards trousers, less than 12 oz. wt. , ) with 2-2.2″ scarlet outer stripe.
High-backed, notched, with 8 brace buttons; button fly, reinforced crotch and seam, 1.5″ folded trouser cuffs, cotton lining in upper part of trousers.
Two side pockets, one rear welt pocket, button on rear pocket.
Parade straight-leg cut with knife pressed creases.
Correct match for Victorian Royal Engineers full-dress tunic from the Victorian era.

Our Victorian era Royal Engineers full dress oxford-blue (very dark blue) wool trousers with a broad scarlet stripe down each outer seam (specified at exactly 2 inches). The trousers are high-backed cut for braces (brace buttons attached), notched back, button fly, two slash side pockets and one back pocket with cotton lining in the upper half of the trousers. The trousers have tailored straight legs with sharp creases for parade wear; worn with Royal Engineers scarlet tunic on full-dress and ceremonial occasions.
