These WWII Australian Army ankle boots with khaki puttees are an exact reproduction of the tropical and desert field footwear used by AIF personnel in North Africa, the Middle East, and the Pacific campaigns. The boots are made from brown-tan full-grain leather, with a rounded toe, reinforced cap, five eyelet lacing, and stitched leather soles for durability. They were worn with khaki wool puttees wrapped around the lower leg to provide ankle support and protection against dust and insects.
