Ours is a meticulously crafted reproduction of the Victorian to early 20th-century British Grenadier Guards Full Dress Tunic, the oldest regiment of the Foot Guards. Tailored in fine non-synthetic scarlet melton wool, it features the regiment’s hallmark single-button spacing, dark blue facings (collar and cuffs), and rich gold lace decoration for NCOs and officers.
The high, stand-up collar is edged in gold lace and embroidered with the grenade insignia, the emblem of the regiment. The tunic comes with a white buff leather belt and the iconic black bearskin cap with the plume on the left side, marking the Grenadiers’ seniority among the Guards regiments.
Trousers are also available for this uniform, and can be ordered together (for savings and discount) or separately from the tunic. Trousers are dark blue, in fine quality melton wool, with scarlet stripe down the side – please product highlights.
This Grenadier Guards Uniform represents one of Britain’s most iconic military dress traditions- worn during parades, state ceremonies, and by the Queen’s (now King’s) Guard at Buckingham Palace.
The uniform comes without the black Bearskin cap, plain gold gilt buttons and can be custom tailored/altered at no extra cost.
