The WWII U.S. Army Wool Service Trousers, officially designated Trousers, Wool, Serge, OD, were part of the standard service dress worn with the ETO “Ike” Jacket from late 1944 onward. Made from olive drab wool serge (OD Shade 33 or 51), these trousers were tailored for a smart, semi-formal look suitable for garrison and walking-out wear.
Our trousers feature a high-waisted design, button fly, two side slash pockets, rear buttoned pocket, and belt loops just like the original. The tapered leg and medium-weight wool gave a sharp drape when worn with the short Eisenhower jacket, khaki shirt, and tie. These trousers completed the quintessential post-1944 U.S. Army service uniform and remained in use through the 1950s.
