A faithful reproduction of the early war M36 German Army (Heer) field tunic, this garment exemplifies the quality and tailoring standards of the Wehrmacht at the outbreak of WWII. Made in authentic field-grey wool, the tunic features distinctive dark green (bottle green) collar and pleated pockets on the chest and skirt. It is fitted with five-button front closure, scalloped pocket flaps, internal suspender hooks, and provision for shoulder boards and insignia (sold separately). This was standard issue for infantry and frontline troops from 1936 through the early years of the war.
