Authentic reproduction of the WWII German Kriegsmarine Cold Weather Felt Boots (Filzstiefel), designed for use by naval and coastal defense personnel operating in extreme cold environments such as the North Sea, Baltic, and Arctic regions. These boots were standard issue for ship and U-boat crews stationed in northern waters, providing warmth, insulation, and moisture resistance in freezing conditions.
Constructed from thick grey felted wool, the boots are unlined but naturally insulating, with reinforced leather / rubber soles for traction on wet decks and icy ground. The design features a tall, mid-calf shaft for warmth and easy wear over wool trousers.
