The metal throat is correct and true to measure with a waterproof rawhide cover slipped on and sealed.  The M1910  US Army Doughboy Bayonet scabbard cover is made with rawhide covered with accurate accurate OG canvas cover tipped in correct russet brown leather tip as per original.
