U.S. Army M1898 Khaki Canvas Leggings – Infantry & Cavalry Pattern

A faithful reproduction of the U.S. Army M1898 drab canvas leggings, introduced during the Spanish–American War and used through the early 1900s. Constructed from heavy khaki (drab) cotton canvas, these leggings were worn by both infantry and cavalry to protect the lower legs and trousers from brush, dirt, and wear during field service. The design features side-laced closures with reinforced metal eyelets, adjustable leather or cotton straps under the instep, and period-correct stitching throughout. These leggings represent the transitional era of U.S. Army field dress leading up to the M1910 equipment period and are perfectly suited for historical reenactors and museum display.
