Authentic reproduction of the French line infantry coat worn during the American Revolutionary War (c. 1776–1783), hand-stitched throughout and made from off-white wool broadcloth. This was the classic uniform coat of the French army sent to aid the American cause under Rochambeau. The coat features distinctive long tails, deep cuffs, and colored lapels and collar according to regiment.
