A superb reproduction of the British Army Infantry Uniform from the late 18th century through the War of 1812, representing the classic “Redcoat” image that became synonymous with British military tradition across the Empire.
The uniform consists of the scarlet wool infantry tunic, light grey woolen trousers, white leather cross-belts with brass plates, and black knee-length boots — all faithfully recreated using period-correct materials and tailoring methods. This ensemble reflects the field dress worn by line infantry regiments during campaigns in North America between 1776 and 1815.
