Authentic reproduction of the WWI Imperial German Army bayonet frog, made from strong naturally (not chrome) tanned buff harness leather, designed to secure the bayonet scabbard to the soldier’s belt, just like the originals.
The bayonet frog (Seitengewehrtragetasche) was an essential part of the field equipment issued to every German infantryman of the First World War. It attached the bayonet scabbard to the leather waist belt, ensuring that the soldier’s sidearm was always secure yet readily accessible in combat.
