We manufacture the M1934 pyramidal tent as it was used and introduced  as the U.S. Army’s standard squad tent just before World War II. Its iconic four-sided pyramid design provided ample interior space and excellent wind resistance, making it a reliable field shelter across every theater of war.

The M1934 tent is constructed of olive drab cotton duck canvas. The tent is supported by a single central pole with guy ropes and wooden pegs securing the large canopy. Ventilation is achieved through flaps and screened openings near the peak.

The M34 is the direct successor to earlier WW1 large squad tents, improving durability, waterproofing, and ease of setup. It became the standard U.S. Army barracks tent for groups of 8–12 enlisted men and was used extensively until replaced by the M1942 and later GP Medium tents.
