We manufacture medical flys for WW2 British, US and German armies. During WW2, all major armies deployed medical flysheets — large rectangular tarpaulins marked with the red cross symbol for Geneva Convention protection. These are lighter and more mobile than full tents, intended to provide temporary overhead cover for field dressings, open-air surgeries, and triage areas.
While sharing the same purpose, the British, U.S., and German designs differed slightly in dimensions, colors, and deployment methods, reflecting their army standards.
