The British Bell Tent manufactured by us was the standard multi-man field tent used by the British Army during the First World War. Recognizable by its conical “bell” shape, the tent featured a circular base and a single tall central pole, with guy ropes radiating outward for stability.
Made of heavy white cotton duck canvas, the bell tent was durable, weather-resistant, and provided excellent ventilation. Its circular floor plan allowed for efficient troop accommodation, fitting 8–10 men with equipment or cots.
It was used is training camps, cantonments, encampments and staging area.
