1903/1907 pattern, WW1 (World War One) Canadian Army (CEF) Officer Tunic, Breeches, and cap are pretty much the same for all commonwealth officer uniforms, such as the British ones, and are made in the correct 98% wool Barathea fabric and not in matte fabric as most of our competitors are selling. Please see the pictures on the WW1 British page. The Uniform is available for all ranks and embroidered rank insignia is provided for all ranks ranging from 2nd Leutenant to General (You can choose which one on the product selection section. The fabric and thread used are all 100% natural and is in the correct Khaki color as in picture. You have the option of choosing breeches/trousers in the product selection section and both are priced the same. The best buy offer comes with shirt & Tie, but Sam Browne belt is extra, which can be ordered from the WW1 British Uniforms page. Boots are also extra, but can be ordered from the WW1 British Army Page. The salient features are reiterated below:

Cap: Made in same Barathea fabric as the tunic & trousers, distinctive broad top, leather peak (pique) encased in Barathea fabric, top grained, naturally tanned leather chin strap with two brass buttons on either side. Available in all sizes.

Tunic: Also in Barathea fabric as above, 2 top small pleated pockets and 2 large lower bellows pockets, 4/5 button closure, tailored notched collar, plain brass buttons provided, vented rear. Comes in all sizes.

Shirt & Tie: Khaki-green as in picture, comes with accurate buttons and can be purchased separately as it is not available anywhere else on the website. Tie is same color as the shirt and that too can be purchased separately as it is not available anywhere else on the website.

Sam Browne Belt: Not included with this offer, but may be purchased on the WW1 British section. Product description is available there.

Trousers/Breeches: High waisted, in some Khaki Barathea fabric as the Tunic & Cap, button fly, reinforced seam, 14 suspender zinc buttons provided, upper cotton lining, 2 side pockets, 1 rear pocket, 1 ” turn up at the bottom cuffs to prevent erosion. You can choose bettween breeches and trousers at the product selection section.

Puttees: Khaki, 8.5′ length, included.

Our 1903/1907 Pattern Canadian Army Officer’s uniform is the same as the BRitish Uniform and the rest of the common wealth forces. The uniform was worn extensively by Canadian Expeditionary Force (CEF) Officer’s in Europe and around the globe during the first world war. This a very authentic replication of the uniform and the only thing lacking is the proper Canadian buttons – but we are working on those. The correct Barathea fabric has been used used and not the synthetic mixed fabric used by other militaria dealers.
