Our 1903/1907 Pattern WW1 Canadian Army (CEF) Ammunition Boots are a 100% accurate reproduction of the WW1 Canadian Army (CEF) boots issued to the ordinary soldiers. The officers wore boots similar to British officer boots and can be purchased in the WW1 British army section of thw WW1 Uniforms category. Our boots are constructed from full-grain pebble-textured leather in the characteristic dark brown finish (we offer them in black too), these ankle-height boots feature a reinforced toe box, stitched vamp, and robust heel counter for maximum durability in field conditions. Each pair is fitted with traditional iron hobnails, steel toe and heel plates, and leather soles hand-pegged and stitched in period-correct fashion.
Our boots have 8 eyelets for secure lacing and are designed to be worn with the puttees/leg wraps/gaiters commonly issued to CEF infantrymen. True to the 1903/1907 pattern specifications, the boots exhibit the squared toe profile and welted sole construction that provided both stability and longevity in trench warfare. Ideal for collectors, living historians, re-enactors, movies, films and museums, these boots are a must have for those interested in this era.
