This combined collection represents the evolution of Finnish field tent design from the early 1900s through the mid-20th century, including four authentic reproduction types: the early canvas wall/A-frame tent, the 1930s half-platoon tent (puolijoukkueteltta), the late-WWII transitional field tent, and the post-war four-season Finnish Defence Forces camp tent. Each model is recreated in field-grade canvas or treated fabric with accurate pole systems and construction details for historical and functional authenticity.
Tent A – Early 20th-Century Canvas Wall/A-Frame Tent: Heavy cotton or linen canvas with ridge-pole setup, wooden or steel poles, and traditional guy-line rigging. Approximate weight 22–30 kg.
Tent B – 1930s Finnish Half-Platoon Tent (Puolijoukkueteltta): Single-piece wool-canvas design for 10–15 men, stove-compatible with snow skirt and simple pole structure. Approximate weight 20–25 kg.
