Our WW1 Italian Army Field side cap (Bustina) comes in the Grigio Verde Wool as described in the tunic. Bustina (Field side cap)

• The most common cap for ordinary infantry (fanteria).

• Soft cloth side cap (bustina grigioverde) in the same grigio verde wool as the tunic. For detailed specifications of the wool, please see product highlights for the tunic on this page.

• Pointed front and back, with piping or small branch-colored badge.

• Infantry (Fanteria di Linea) – Red piping

• Bersaglieri – Crimson (amaranto) piping

• Alpini – Green piping

• Grenadiers (Granatieri di Sardegna) – Crimson with grenade device

• Artillery – Black cap, red piping

• Engineers (Genio) – Black with crimson piping

• Medical Corps (Sanità) – Black with  red cross emblem

• Transport & Train (Treno di Servizio) – Light blue piping

• Carabinieri – Black with silver flame badge

• Cavalry –  white piping

• Colonial Troops – Yellow.
