This uniform is a complete WW2 British ATS (Auxiliary Territorial Service) Khaki Drill summer set, worn by ATS personnel serving in warm-weather regions such as the Middle East, North Africa and India. The ensemble includes the classic khaki drill short-sleeved shirt with pleated pockets, correct shoulder epaulettes, and wartime ATS chevrons. The skirt is the regulation KD wrap or A-line skirt used throughout the war, tailored in breathable khaki drill cotton for comfort in tropical conditions.
The uniform also features the standard webbing belt in light khaki shade, correct ankle socks, and low brown service shoes.
