Our M1910 Belgian Army boots (brodequins modèle 1910) are faithful reproductions of the original which were the standard marching footwear for Belgian soldiers during the First World War.
Constructed from heavy-duty leather (please read leather specifications in the product highlight section above), the boots have a low ankle cut with seven eyelets for lacing, providing excellent ankle support. The soles were reinforced with hobnails and heel irons, improving grip and durability on muddy or uneven ground. Our M1910 design closely resembled contemporary French and German marching boots but retains the Belgian production traits, including a slightly more rounded toe and thicker leather uppers.
We offer these boots in two finishes:

Brown leather (issued early war, sometimes blackened in the field).

Black leather (more common in later years and with gendarmerie).
Paired with puttees or leather gaiters, the M1910 boots became a defining part of the Belgian soldier’s uniform from the mobilization of 1914 to the Armistice in 1918.
Boots color color can be specified and they can be purchased with or without the puttees.
