The German Officer’s Tent manufactured by us has the following technical specifications and weight and are copied exactly from war records. It is a mid-sized rectangular tent used by Wehrmacht and Luftwaffe officers during WW2. Unlike the standard soldier-issued Zeltbahn 31 flysheets, this was a dedicated unit-level tent, designed to provide working and living space for officers in the field.
The Officers’ tent is constructed of heavy-duty cotton duck canvas, the tent came in khaki (used in summer and Mediterranean/North Africa campaigns) and field-green (used in Europe and Eastern Front campaigns). Its practical design featured vertical sidewalls, a peaked roof, and ample interior room for cots, desks, and maps.
Issued in smaller numbers and transported by truck, the officer’s tent symbolized permanence and authority in field encampments.
