The fabric for our WW1 US Army Doughboy and other uniforms is mill manufactured, much, in the same way, it was originally made, and is made in lots of 1000 meters.  This means that reenactors from the same unit will always get the same shade of wool for a long time.   Each article is offered individually but the more you purchase the more economical your order is.

WW1 US Army Model 1912 Service wool Coat or Tunic:  The wool uniform coat of the WW1 US Army is made in perfectly replicated khaki tan wool with flat patch pockets, and plain cuffs with two rows of stitching about 3 inches from the cuff.  It has a straight-standing collar with one collar disk on both sides (disks not included with the WWI US Army coat or blouse, but are available as an extra.  Please see below). It has tapered shoulder tabs and the Doughboy coat or tunic is fully lined in cotton drill.  No synthetic threads or fabrics are used anywhere on this coat or tunic.   The price of the coat is US$125/pc.

WW1 US Army Model 1912 Service wool Breeches (Jodhpurs)/Trousers: These are manufactured in the same khaki wool as the Doughboy tunic or blouse and have two front slit pockets and a watch pocket.  They have a button fly and laced lower legs with a back adjusting tab.  The breeches are not widely flared but are semi-breeches with proper style lacing eyelets and reinforced crotch seams. No synthetic thread or fabrics are used anywhere on these. The price of breeches is US$ 71/pr.

WW1 US Army Model 1917 Service wool Coat or Tunic:  This is the standard issue uniform coat or tunic issued to most WW1 US Army troops serving in the AEF from 1917-1918.  The wool is a little coarser and the color is more towards the olive drab shade.  It has a standing collar and comes without the national seal subdued rim eagle buttons.  It is double stitched to stand the rigors of reenaction in the same color thread as the AEF tunic wool.  No synthetic threads are used anywhere on this coat or tunic.  There are 4 patch pockets with flaps and two non-tapered shoulder tabs.  It is lined with khaki cotton drill lining and has an inside breast slit pocket.  It has plain cuffs and all seams, back and front, are double-stitched. The price of the coat is US$125/pc.

WW1 US Army Model 1917 Service wool breeches/trousers:  They are made in the same fabric as the M-1917 AEF ww1 US Army coat or tunic.    It has two front slit pockets and an adjustment strap in the back along with belt loops and a button fly.   All the seams are double stitched in the same color thread as the wool fabric of the breeches/trousers and no synthetic fabric or threads are used in its construction.  The breeches are not widely flared and are semi-breeches with a tapered laced leg and reinforced inner thighs – the reinforcing fabric is the same fabric as the AEF breeches. Price of breeches is US$ 71/pr.

WW1 US Army Model 1918 Service wool Coat or Tunic: This is a wool uniform coat also known as the “Pershing Type” tunic of the WW1 US Army.  It is made in olive drab wool and has a standing collar, 4 inside slit pockets, and the pocket flaps are secured by buttons (which are not provided with the uniforms).  The coat or tunic has an inside breast slit pocket and is lined in a Khaki cotton drill liner.  No synthetic thread or fabric is used in its construction.  There are two non-tapered shoulder tabs and the back of the coat is double stitched. The price of the coat is US$125/pc.

WW1 US Army Model 1918 Service wool Trouser: Constructed in the same fabric as the 1918 coat or tunic with 2 front slit pockets and no adjustment strap on the back.  The legs are straight and not tapered and the trousers come with button fly and belt loops.  No reinforcement and no laces are provided. No synthetic thread or fabric is used in their construction.  The price of the trousers is US$ 71/pr.

WW1 US Army Olive Drab (OD) Flannel shirt:  The shirts are made in the correct “cotswool” (cotton-wool) flannel in olive drab (OD) color. They have a cotton lining on the shoulders and pencil slots in the pockets.  No synthetic thread or fabric is used in their construction.  The thread used is also olive-drab in color.  The fabric is pre-shrunk and can be machine-washed.  We provide the shirt with elbow patches for reinforcing. The price of the shirt is US$35/pc.

WW1 US Army Olive Drab (OD) woolen cut puttees or “leg-wraps”:  These are available in the same color as your tunic or coat and are nine feet in length.  They are of the “cut” variety.  The price of puttees or leg wraps is US$ 20/pr.

WW1 US Army Overseas caps:  The hats have an eyelet for insignia and the pleat is sewn shut in the middle so you will not have to do this yourself. The price of the overseas cap is US$ 20/pc.

WW1 US Army heavy wool M-1912 Overcoat or great coat:  This is made in the correct 25 oz wool with cotton drill lining and a white cotton underling.  It has a long skirt and is provided with cuff epaulets.  The pockets access the service coat worn underneath.  It is stitched in the same-colored thread as the overcoat and no synthetic materials are used in its construction.   The price of WW1 overcoat is US$204/pc

WW1 US Army French Overseas Cap:  Made in both the high pointed corners style and with clipped corners.  They were worn early in the war by the AEF.  Price US$ 20/pc.

WW1 USMC Dress Blue uniform: In the correct blue wool, with red piping, cuffs, and polished black cotton lining.  Complete uniform, custom tailored, door delivered is available for US$255/set.

WW1 US Army M-1912 cotton uniform tunic or coat (summer weight):  The coat is made of 100% cotton drill having 4 patch pockets with flaps secured with buttons.  It has a standing collar with a buttonhole for collar devices on either side.  It is closed by r-rimmed buttons attached via split rings.  The summer weight coat of the US WW1 army has plain cuffs with a double row of stitching about 3 inches from the bottom of the sleeve. The coat does not have any interior pockets and is unlined.  It is constructed in olive drab 6.5 oz fabric and the seams are double stitched in the same color thread as the fabric.  Tapered shoulder tabs or epaulets are provided.  The price is US$110/pc.

WW1 US Army M-1912 cotton uniform breeches/trousers (summer weight):  These are made in the same fabric as the summer weight US Army WW1 cotton uniform tunic and have a button fly, hip pockets, belt loops, adjusting tab in the back,  and laced tapered legs at the bottom.  The lower leg is laced in both infantry and cavalry (these are reinforced) cuts.  The price is US$52/pr.

WW1 US Army Leather Jerkin:  The sleeveless leather jerkin was made in cow leather and was lined in wool.  Custom-tailored to fit you exactly and a good alternative in the AEF to the bulkier Doughboy overcoat.  Price US$120/pc.

WW1 US Army M-1910 Bayonet scabbards:  The cover is made from duck webbed cotton with a leather lip with an inside scabbard made from teak wood.  The metal throat is correct and true to measure with a waterproof rawhide cover slipped on and sealed.  Price US$ 38/pc.

WW1 US Army M-1910 First Aid Pouch or FAP:  Made in khaki color in knitted webbing NOT woven webbing as available elsewhere.  The snaps are blackened and made on pressure dies not cheap casting dies.  Also available in Olive Drab color for earlier replications.  The price is US$ 8/pc. FOOTWEAR/BOOTS OF THE WW1 (WORLD WAR ONE, WWI) AEF US ARMY.

Our model 1917 Pershing Boots AEF are made in rough side-out cow leather (not buff) and feature leather laces,  correct hobnail pattern on the sole,  double leather sole, and heel plates.  The uppers are not stitched with nylon but with correct heavy-duty industrial threading as was done originally.  Available in all sizes from 7-13 and half sizes.  The price is US$ 90/pair.
